The Old Royal Naval College
- A UNESCO World heritage site.
- Designed by Sir Christopher Wren.
- Built between 1696 and 1712.
- Previously, the 'Palace of Greenwich' which was built in 1428 for King Henry the 8th stood on this site.
- Buildings used as Royal Navy training centre between 1873 and 1998.
- Admiral Nelson laid in state here in 1805.
- Operational nuclear reactor housed on site 1962 - 1999!
- Site now shared between the University of Greenwich and Trinity School of Music.
Maritime Greenwich
- World heritage site.
- Henry VIII born here.
- Elizabeth I summer residence.
- The Design of the White House in US based on the Queens House in Greenwich.
- The Royal Observatory, built in 1675, marks the prime meridian.
